Good Morning Lake Tahoe!
We have had quite the series of storms! Many have suffered considerable property damage and in the coming days I am sure this community will 'raise' as it always does, to assist those in need. Many weather related issues such as roads closers (hwy 50 closed at Cave Rock & also hwy 89 at Emerald Bay closed) are still a high concern and we suggest checking our web-site blog for any last minute changes.
The Borges family has managed to open our Sand Harbor State Park location at Hwy 28 just 3 miles south of Incline Village. Wth its breathtaking vistas, new fallen snow and wooded areas, I would imagine a horse drawn sleigh ride will be magical and the views stunning! For those of us who have been here the last few days, a bit of sunshine will also be a real treat!
We will accept riders with or without reservations
11am til 4pm; 2/11 through Valentine's day, 2/14.
We have not yet opened the South Shore location at Stateline due to many weather related issues. We are working to open that location as soon as possible.
Sand Harbor will offer a 1 hour private reservation: $50 adults; $45 for - seniors over 65 yrs, students 11-25 yrs, military, peace officers & emergency response personnel (Thank You for your service!) ; $20 -children 2-10yrs; and babies under 2 yrs are always free.
Our shorter group minute ride, 20 minutes is $25 for adults & children 2-11 are $10
We accept MasterCard/Visa and Cash and a parking fee is required to enter the State Park.
Both rides offer spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and go through the woods and today are offered on snow, thanks to the last minute colder temperatures. Ask the receptionist on site for any addition descriptions. and Happy Trials!
