Winter Sleigh Rides at Sand Harbors Visitors Center

Premium Sleigh Rides offers a better than 40 minute narrated horse drawn tour in one of our many custom sleighs ranging from a cozy sleigh for 2 -4 persons, to our festive family vehicles that hold 10-12. Pet are always welcome on a leash. Your tour begins at the Sand Harbor Visitors Center enjoying the Park’s spectacular views of Lake Tahoe from the South Beach. Then your travels take you through the towering pines of a peaceful Enchanted Forest before your return to Grandma’s Cottage where treats and Hot Chocolates await!
On non holidays & Saturdays, last minute guest are always welcomed on our Walk-up, & Go Group Narrated Tours. Most are a minimal wait. Office staff will be able to information on the wait or check Today’s News for updated information. We do our best to offer a private tour for your group. This is not always possible on holidays or busy Saturdays.
To occupy your time enjoy the parks many easy & one of a kind beautiful trails, stop in the interactive Visitors, center and Gift Shop, and grab snack or bring a lunch.
Both adventures offer opportunities to stop listen to stories & poems, sing songs and snap those special photos to capture your memories. Our Beautiful Blonde Belgian Horses stop along the way to rest and allow photos of your group and the scenery.

Entrance parking fee of $15 is collected by the Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park.
